I was wondering how pre-med/pre-dental is at boston college and how good the placements into grad school are and the opportunities given to the students?

Holy Cross and Tufts have great pre-med programs and very high med school acceptance rates.

Most colleges have excellent grad school placements for their (“better”) students. And as par72 points out, Holy Cross does as well. (But note that HC clearly limits the premed advising to those that they think will be successful.)

BC has an excellent advising program and many opportunities for on-campus research. And of course, Boston has a gazillion local tech firms who hire local college students for internships, etc.

Actually, Holy Cross no longer restricts their Pre Health Advising to a subset of approved students. That policy changes this year. However, their HPAC does eventually provide a recommendation that can seal your deal or your doom–well there are 4 levels of recommendation I believe.
But who doesn’t do this?

'bout time that the Jesuit college became more welcoming (and Jesuit-like).!

Most colleges, that’s who.
