<p>I will be entering the university of michigan next fall. As yopu may know they don't have a special pre-med program, but have a fantastic med school. They also offer an opportunity for undergrads to do research. So I was wonder just how important having research under your belt is? I plan on doing work-study and volunteering too so knowing the importance of it would be awesome. thanks</p>
