Hey guys! I was just accepted to UCLA(Go Bruins!) as an undeclared life science major. I was planning to switch to neuroscience during orientation, but right now I’m stuck between two school- UCLA and UofM. I’m leaning towards UCLA, but if someone could give me some insight into premed at UCLA before I make my decision, I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks!
Very cut-throat competitive in UCLA!
I heard that UCLA’s premed competition isn’t as bad as Michigan’s (Michigan is more cut throat).
@bruin2020 From my daughter’s experience as a first year UCLA Regents scholar, it is very tough to get A’s in the science classes (necessary if you dream of medical school!). She is often up well beyond the midnight to cope with the coursework!
