Pre-professional Colleges

Which colleges do you consider to have the most pre-professional atmosphere?

Anything technology-oriented more than liberal arts oriented. And among schools with a significant balance between engineering, business, journalism, etc. and the liberal arts, Penn, Cornell, Northwestern and Duke are often cited as being relatively pre-professional in nature.

Thanks, gadad. Can anyone else add to this list. I have heard Claremont McKenna described that way. Any other liberal arts colleges fall in this category?

Yeah Claremont McKenna is definitely one.

It also depends on the major you're interested in pursuing.

Claremont McKenna is pre-professional? How weird. I didn't really think liberal arts schools could be pre-professional.

By the way, to the OP, isn't Brötchen good with Butter? ;)

Yes, with Butter, Schinken, Marmelade, but mostly with Nutella : )

It is pre professional, they won't shy from telling you that it is. That's one of the major reason why a lot of students end up attending to study their more popular majors of Political Science, Economics, and Government/International Relations. They have excellent placement into Law/Grad school, and their moto is leaders in the making.

Yes. liek0806, do you know of any other LAC with those characteristics?
