Does Columbia have anything similar to Princeton’s pre-read (a book or topic we should read and prepare in advance before arriving on campus, which we will discuss in the orientation week)?
I was reading their academic planning guide for the 2016-2017 academic year and it said that the first 12 books of The Iliad would be discussed during the first week of Lit-Hum. So I am assuming that The Iliad is our summer reading assignment.
The Iliad should prepare you socially, emotionally, and academically for CC, ha.
