Okay I took a placement test and I was placed into Algebra 2. I have planned to move to a different college since the waitlist is super long for the nursing program. Since I was placed into Algebra 2 and LVN program pre-reqs is to complete pre-algebra, would I have to take it still even though I was placed into Alg2?
Most college degrees require a semester or two of math. Most nursing programs include statistics in their curriculum. If you are only required to take one semester of math, you may be better off taking stats. In any case, check the requirements for all of the colleges where you may apply.
Typically, a placement test does not give you credit for any class.
