Sorry that it's all sloppy but thank you so much if you stuck through this! I will predict back :)

Good test scores but your ecs are about average for the Ivy League unfortunately.

Thank you for answering! Do you think that they might overlook that since I’ve been working ~40 hours per week since I turned 16? @onlythebest13

Also I completely forgot-
NHS junior year and this year

Anyone else?

@annamarin‌ your ECs are stellar  they will absolutely take into account the fact that you work 40 hpw that’s like doing 5 ECs. good luck, most of those are toss ups but you’re qualified.

Thank you so much! That makes me feel 1000% better-- I was worried it wasn’t worth it  Good luck to you too if you’re applying to colleges @guineagirl96‌

bumpp

anyone else? I chance back

@annamarin - your ECs are fine!

The best EC you could possibly have is to be working full time as a high school student and yet still manage to accomplish so much. It makes no sense to offer chances for individual schools, but assuming your application makes it clear you have been working 40 hrs/week and supporting the family, and your essay and recommendations are strong, I would not be surprised if you get into every school you apply to, including HYPS.

Don’t overlook financial aid filing requirements, They vary by school, so pay close attention to what is required and when. For most of these schools, you will need to file both the CSS Profile and FAFSA. Princeton has its own financial aid application but it closely mirrors the CSS Profile. Even if you don’t get selected for the College Match scholarship, it’s likely you will be offered sufficient financial aid to cover all college costs, including personal and travel expenses.

Good luck!

Yale- Match
Stanford- Match
Princeton- Slight Reach, but highly possible!
Brown- Safety? Maybe a bit higher than safety, but certainly a match!
Columbia- Match
Wellesley- Safety
Northwestern- Safety
Dartmouth- Match

Harvard- slight reach
Tufts- safety
Northeastern- safety, safety, most defenitely a safety
Vandy- match
Rice- safety

Good luck!

Stats and ECs are great, only problem is that many people will be applying to these selective colleges with just as good resumes as you, so its very hard to predict for a lot of these schools. I will do the best I can though :)

Yale: Reach
Stanford:Reach
Princeton:Reach
Brown:Match
Columbia: Low Reach
Wellesley:Match
Northwestern: Match
Dartmouth: Match

Also, don’t worry too much about financial aid, from what I’ve heard and with your resume, you will get a very good, if not full, financial package

Chance Back?

Thank you guys! @BldrDad @csrbs2‌

Thanks! I chanced you back, good luck-- I think you’ll get into all/most of your list  @darktoform31‌

Thanks for the chance! Your stats look great for every single school you plan on applying to. I can’t really find any severe fault to your resume because you really are a stellar applicant.

Yale - Reach
Stanford - Reach
Princeton - Reach
Brown - Reach
Columbia - Reach
Wellesley - Match
Northwestern - Match
Dartmouth - Reach

Don’t take these chances too harshly, Ivies + Stanford rejects 2400/4.0 perfect students every year. You’re not too far from that, but I think what sets you apart is your ability to manage a job while being a top student, which is amazing. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got into all of these schools actually, because you are competitive for each one. As bad as it sounds, it might all come down to whether or not your app catches an admissions officer on the right day in the right mood. Regardless, be proud of your accomplishments. I’m sure you’ll get into at least a couple of these schools.

thank you, I’d be happy just getting into those matches  @bonsly

this is old but im still curious so bump

I’m seriously impressed. 40 hours per week! And you still managed a great GPA and test scores. You have a really good shot anywhere. I send you my best wishes! You’ve earned it :)
