predict your SAT scores!

650-680 World History

Reasoning: Math: 600 (should be around 750 if I didn't grid it in all wrong!); Verbal: 700.

I really hope I made at least 1270 (to get Bright Future's scholarship).

Kings16, I believe that the author mainly relied on demographic sources. Specific information about population was cited several times along with information about gender, race, etc. The answer to your second question would be that the interviews gave a false sense of comprehesiveness. The reason this is the answer is that these interviews may not be representative of the slave expierence as a whole( this was proved through the use of demographic information). There was a question derived from the Phoenix rising from the ashes caption and I believe that the answer for it was something like the author had to regroup emotionally after the failure of her farm. The art quotation stated that she transmuted pain into art. This makes the assumption that her art was the expression of her anguish. I also put that the thing that was most indicative of her myth-maker status was that she formed her public persona much in the same way as her novels. Lastly, for how the way that she was viewed changed I put that she went from legend to self-contridicting because I think that the quotations cited in the questions showed that she was viewed in these ways. Hope that helps.

thedude, was the slavery passage experimental tho?

wrathofgod64, it wasnt experimental becuz i had it too, and i had 4 math sections

No, it wasn't. I had two 25 question math sections.

and my predictions, depending on the curve

Math: 770-800
Verbal:750-800

Composite: 1520-1600

I really hope math has at least an 800 800 780 curve, since i missed one grid-in question

A 1150 will be lower than what I got last time. :(

thedude, i put demographics too.

i take many of these answers with a grain of salt... because... quite frankly i know i crushed CR and i put demographics. early on in the first sat thread, many people said historical passages... there was stuff about race relations and where you were (north or south, black or white, male or female) that is why i put that.

i think i have a 68/78... hoping for a 700+
and a 53/54 in math... hoping for a 700+

y00nsk i think i'm gonna get the exact same score as u lol

btw, these were the verbal passages i had. tell me which was experimental

two asian poets from cambridge
bald eagle education one
slavery/t-rex
Artificial Intelligence
africa woman

legend to self contradicting? i put something ... forgot the word... to genius narcissist. she was self conceited as it was stated by the passage. i don't see that was wrong.

i missed 9 to 11 on math, any idea what my score will be?

yes but she was also self-contradicting. if u remember the guy that was describing her he said "she was a paradox", which i think implies she was self-contradicting

I was sort of worried about that question because I didn't really have much time to think about. Amnesia do you remember what quotations that the question refered you to. I think one was the quotation about her killing lions and the other about her being a paradox. That why I chose what I chose. The main problem that I see in your answer is that although she changed the truth in her biography, it did not mention how she did it or if she did it in a narcissistic manner. Not really sure of this answer though.

wrathofgod64, i didnt have the passages about the t-rex or the two asian poets from cambridge, but i had all those others.

what do u think -4 on verbal would be?

wrathofgod, I think that -4 raw will probably be a 790 this time.

Math IC- 720 (SO MAD...I know I could've done better)
United States and Writing- 700+ (I'm praying....)

i know 1 SAT where the verbal was -4 = 800. i'm pretty sure this verbal section wasn't that hard, but i hope ur right thedude.

How many questions would I be able to get wrong/omit and still make 700 flat on verbal?

How many could I get wrong/omit to get at least 600 on math?
