Self-explanatory.. everyone post what they think the curve will look like.

Math- lenient? like January? -1 = 790, etc.
CR- harsh? like March? -2 = 770, -3 = 730
Writing- medium?

i agree with math and writing. but i thought CR was kind of hard in some places. i'm guessing the hopeful -2=800 for reading.

Math should definitely be lenient, especially if the parabola question is any indicator (I really hope they drop that one).

-2 is almost always and 800, how could -3 be a 730? thats an outrageously steep drop.

i got a 710 on math in march...only 3 wrong and skipped none...i thought that was kinda harsh >_<

Oh ****, 3 wrong was a 710? No way, that's ridiculous. In Jan 10 wrong was a 600.

yeah dec test 4 wrong was a 710 for math

Writing was easy so -1 = 790.
Math was more challenging than May (remember most students are not up to CC math standards) so -1 = 800.
CR had some very tricky questions that could have gone either way so -2 = 800

I didn't think the math was that bad.
i thought there was some hard vocab in the CR. so maybe a decent curve there? hopefully

yeah that vocab manhandled me

I may have gotten the experimental writing, because I felt there were a few that were quite tricky. I am hoping there is a decent curve for that writing section.

The math was easy for me, but that was just by luck. Since I took calc sophomore year, I decided to review sequences&series and permutations the night before the test (I even posted a topic here about oddball math questions). In all honesty though, I felt like the math section was more difficult than the math section from the May test date, so hopefully -2 = 800 and at least -1 = 800

Reading comp vocab felt slightly more difficult than the vocab from the May test. I felt like there may have been 1 or 2 more 'hard' questions than there were on the May test. So my guess would be that -1 = 800 for the reading comp.

-2 is ALMOST ALWAYS 800 for reading.

-1 is ALMOST NEVER an 800 in Math

only -1=800 for CR? thats a pretty harsh curve

JJJJ, do you mean the math curve is usually more or less generous?

-6 on CR was still a 720 for the May test date. I am not sure how that correlates to the -1=800 or -2=800, but someone else here may know

That is a big drop on the May CR from -2 to -3, and not so from -3 to -6. I got 770 with -3. Unless, of course, -2 was 790.
As for the math, he meant it is usually less generous. Rarely does a -1 give you an 800 on the math.

March CR was -4 = 730. my bad.

when's the curve most lenient? i heard that march is always the harder one...and may/june are the easier ones.

i heard those are just 'myths'.
but HOPEFULLY!

do you think -6 in CR will be ~730?
-2, omit 2 in M will be ~740?

and what do you guys think a -2-4 on cr would be?

sushifreak, I scored -6 in May and scored 720, so I think you're on track for a 730.
