<p>At D’s H.S., the saying was “Univ. of Chicago, where fun goes to die.” D was accepted to UVa, Mich and Texas. She did not like the vibe at UVa, in particular she believed that undergrad research was not taken as seriously at UVa than at Mich. She easily dropped UVa and then her choice was between Mich honors and Plan 2 at Texas (hence my screen name). She chose Mich and absolutely loves it.</p>
