<p>how is the pre-med advising at cornell, UVA, and Georgetown?
I have heard from some students that advising at UVa is not that great- is this true?</p>

<p>On an old post on CC, it said that UVa only has one premed adviser and the med school acceptance rate is about 70%. For Georgetown, there is a premed committee that writes the recommendations and such. The med school acceptance rate is about 80% but this percentage is out of the people who are recommended by the committee. I think at Georgetown, there is only one premed adviser, but then again, it is a smaller school. Hope that helps even though I'm not a current student :)</p>
