Premed and Major.... overall advise

Hey everyone, I want to be premed, and I want to major in some science major because I know that it’ll be more useful. What classes do I need to take? What grades do I need to make in order to get into a good med school? (This is for UNC Chapel Hill).

Any major is ok for pre-med. However, about half of medical school applicants and matriculants major in biology, due to both convenience (overlap between major and pre-med requirements) and interest. But note that biology does not have that good job prospects for those who do not go on to professional school (most applicants to medical school get rejected everywhere).

College GPA and MCAT score are very important in medical school admission:

At minimum you need a year of biology, a year of English, a year of physics, and two years of chemistry (general and organic) and a semester of biochem.
