<p>Hey everyone if you are pre-med or considering pre-med check out this wonderful new website. Berkeley is full of wonderful recourses but they are sometimes hard to find. This website puts everything to know about pre-med at Berkeley in one place.</p>

There are nearly 26,000 undergraduate students at UC Berkeley. Up to 25% of the entire undergraduate student body is pre-medicine students, students who are pursuing medical school after completing an undergraduate career at UC Berkeley, and this number is steadily rising. Yet despite the overwhelming size of the pre-med community at Berkeley, students at Berkeley consider pre-med advising at Cal weak; and at times, even nonexistent.
Premed@Berkeley aims to properly advertise all resources already available to Cal premed students and to make these resources accessible to everyone. Rather than creating a new resource, this website aims to organize existing resources and opportunities and make them easily navigable and user friendly. Our hope is to foster a more collaborative environment within the Cal premed community; encouraging student contributions to the website to keep it a self-sustaining, evolving, and relevant resource.
To help get this website rolling the website creators are teaming up with ASUC candidate Dree Kavoussi (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/DreeForASUCSenate">https://www.facebook.com/DreeForASUCSenate</a>) and submitting to the Big Ideas @ Berkeley Video contest.</p>
