Since no one replied to this in another post...

I saw in earlier (like , years earlier) that one of the biggest complaints about Berkeley pre-med was the poor advising.
Is this still true? How is the pre-med advising at Berkeley?
When I am trying to keep my GPA afloat and study for MCAT, how much help will/can I get on my application and interviews?

someone please reply? thanks.

bump, please.
Someone has to have done pre-med here!

lol I’m ex-pre-med.

they actually do mock med school interviews, review your personal essays, have a letter service where they will hold all of your rec letters until you apply.

the main premed advisor is Juhn Verano and he will meet with you if you are an upperclassmen thinking of applying to med school. otherwise you can meet with a peer advisor as i have several times.

they also have copies of the msar, mcat prep books etc at the career center.

overall, i think premed at berkeley is what you make of the resources available to you. yes, the competition is fierce, but it is not impossible to succeed if you try.
