Premed study abroad?

How easy is it for a premed student to study abroad? Specifically, I was looking at the Uganda Program in Public Health that takes place in the spring. I know that the Public health programs are geared towards students interested in health, but how can I study abroad when I'm taking chem 1st year, bio and orgo 2nd year, and physics/applications/MCAT 3rd year? Is it even possible to do this program and apply to medschool on time?

Freshman year? Could I take the two quarter advanced chem? I feel like studying abroad this early might not be good..

What if I did it sophomore year? Is there a time when I can make up bio and orgo spring quarter? I heard that medical schools don't like you taking classes over the summer...

If I did it junior year, would it be possible to take phys in the summer after soph. and then take MCAT in august and just apply to schools very early?

sorry I have lots of questions! I would love to start planning now! Let me know! p.s. my planned major is biology w/ possible minor in global health

You can take any quarter of chem or bio out of sequence, so you could do two quarter chem and then take third quarter bio physics or bio freshman year, and then go abroad junior or sophomore spring.

i can do that?

I heard that bio can’t be taken out of sequence… Due to pre-req and stuff. Like you need bio 210-2 to take bio 210-3. Or atleast, that is what this site says… ?

I know of at least one person who took 2 and 3 before taking 1. Alternatively, you could just take as a freshman: seminars, Bio, Chem, and Calculus. Of course, that might be a bit suicidal.
