So I have taken the SAT twice and both times my SAT math score was 690. Both times there were 5 problems on the SAT Math that I did not answer correctly, both times 3 of those 5 questions were Geometry type questions. (And some of the ones I missed were ranked medium according to my score report) This is not at all surprising because Geometry has never been my strength in math. It also doesn’t help that I am going into my Senior year and I last took Geometry in 8th grade. What I am asking is what resources do you guys recommend for me to use in order for me to improve my skills on Geometry type questions? I feel like if I can get better at those then my score could easily be around 730-750. Thanks.
“Barrons Math SAT Workbook”. “Barons SAT” and “PWN the Math SAT” are good too, but have less problems on topic.
For Math in general, i can guarantee that mastery of
“Dr. Chung’s 58 tips and 20 practice tests”
will guarantee and 800. Its hard and a lot of work but almost every question is a level 4/5 question so you literally breeze through the actually sat.
Since your scoring 690 on math i think the book would be excellent
Dr. Chungs is harder than Barrons, which is harder than Official SAT. However, it is not true that all the problems or 4s or 5s. If you want hard illustrative problems on geometry, Pwn the Math SAT and Math SAT 800 might be good.
