Prep books for PSAT

So, I took my PSAT practice using CollegeBoard’s two tests and got a 1340 (730 Verbal, 610 Math). My score is very lopsided so if anyone has any recommendations for math geared prep books, that would be awesome. Should I buy the Princeton 550+ Practice questions when I already have the Official SAT guide? Are the SAT and PSAT close enough? I am hoping for a 1490 because the Texas cutoff is 221 which is roughly a 1490+. My index is a 208 right now and I have a month. Also, do you think it is possible to raise it to a 1490 by Oct. 10th? Thank you so much for your feedback!

My DS20 is just using sat books to prep for PSAT, since he just took the SAT in August. He says (based on his PSAT did as a sophomore), PSAT is a bit easier than SAT.
Good luck.

Thank you! Do you recommend any specific math books?

He used Dr Chung’s SAT math, which he says is harder than the real SAT questions.

PR has great student reviews.

I would just use the practice SAT tests from the college board website as well as the practice psat tests. You should focus on the math for a majority of your prep. Do a practice section a day untimed and watch YouTube videos for the help solving the problems you struggle with. Every college board practice test has a video or 3 on how to solve the problems. Once you can solve the problems with only a 3 wrong for the math section start timing.
