so I'm a rising sophomore and with school coming up soon I was wondering if anyone had any advice / recs for prep books and studying for the following:

APUSH - AMSCO, REA Crash Course
For all APs, look at free response questions on the college board website. These are very helpful because they give you an idea of how they are scored. You can also notice patterns in what is asked.

ACT - Real ACT Guide, Princeton Review books

SAT - blue book (by College Board) for practice tests
For Critical Reading - Barron’s (also good for other sections)
For Writing MC - Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar by Meltzer
For Math - Dr. Chungs
By studying for the SAT, you will also prepare for the PSAT.

APUS- Buy “The Essential Content” By Larry Krieger, message me for PDFs of the books Violinist suggested.

AP Spanish: There aren’t that many good ones. Barron’s is okay but the questions are a lot harder than the ones on the test, that might not be a bad thing, though.

SAT- There are tons of options, however the book you MUST buy is the Official SAT Prep book (blue book) by the college board. As it is exactly what will be on the test.

APUSH: 5 steps to a 5 (got a 5). I recommend going through the glossary and defining each word (obviously without looking at the definition, it mixes up the years, WWII then Taft then the Continental Congress)

For standardized testing, I got many practice tests.

I have AMSCO and 5 Steps to a 5 right now for APUSH, I’m really having trouble finding a consensus on a good AP Spanish Lang prep book… I’ve been trying to find one that was published this year because of the changes, which is only Princeton Review, 5 Steps, and REA. Do you think that older ones would work despite the changes?
