prep school curriculum

ok, here's my situation: i am an 11th grader at a canadian prep school. i attended american public school last year. had i stayed at my old school, i would have had almost all honors and ap classes for my junior and senior years. however, since i am new at the prep school, they will not allow me to take advanced classes. also, there are not as many ap selections available- as the school believes in the strength of its general curriculum. will schools take these factors into consideration when i apply. my average was around a 98/100 at my old school and it should be around a 91 or 93 here (canadian system). any thoughts?

If you explain it to them on your app, they will understand. I'm at a prep school too (albeit not very competitive) and it only offers university prep curriculum (no AP, no enriched). I'm studying AP by myself.

yeah i was thinking of doing that for ap.

bumpity bump bump
