Prep Schools with Postgraduate Athletics

<p>I'm a girl (high school senior) and I would like to play basketball at a prep school. I'm located in Virginia and I have to stay on the east coast..</p>

<p>I know of Massanutten Military Academy. They have a boys postgraduate basketball program, but if I'm not mistaken I don't think they have a girls program. Randolph Macon Academy doesn't offer sports for PG students at all. I'm not sure if Stuart Hall does, I've emailed their Athletic Director.. I'm still waiting for him to get back to me.</p>

<p>Does anyone know of any Prep Schools that offers a postgraduate year and athletics? Preferably girls basketball... I would like to strengthen my academics and basketball skills to obtain a scholarship.. Please help me. Thank you.</p>

<p>I recommend the MAPL schools, which stands for the Mid-Atlantic Prep League (found on Wiki). This includes schools in nearby Pennsylvania and New Jersey: Blair, the Hill, Hun, Lawrenceville, Mercersburg, Peddie. The PGs have to have academic creds and the girls bball can be very good, leading to a better collegiate outcome.</p>

<p>Thanks ! I’ll definitely look into the MAPL. If anyone knows any other leagues or schools offering girls post graduate sports, please let me know. Especially in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.</p>
