If my daughter took an SAT prep class is it necessary to take an ACT one? Are they similar enough to help her?

ACT has math that goes further than the SAT (a little trigonometry, etc) as well as a science section which most people have difficulty preparing for. Studying for the SAT would probably help her somewhat for the ACT but obviously an ACT class would help more. She might be able to self study though, that’s what I did and I got a 34/36.
