Hello, I am currently in the 9th grade. I live in India, and study under the State Board. I've always wanted to go abroad and study in the US. I've come to understand that apart from academic excellence the colleges abroad seek extracurricular competence too. I would really appreciate a thorough guide of sorts, on where my best chances lie. This would include:
1. Realistic chances at ______ colleges(financial aid required)
2. How to go about it(exams to be given, etc.)

Let me state all the possible information. My grades are good, I suppose-
9th standard UT 1- 93.4%
Term exam- 90.1%
UT 2- 92%

Final exams coming up in a month, I'm aiming for around 92%.

I am the vice captain of my house at school, and have a pretty good impression on my teachers. Unfortunately my school has no debate team or any such ECs.

I speak English proficiently, and I speak Hindi(national language) and Marathi(regional language) relatively well. I'm learning French online on Babbel.com and will continue till the end of A2/B1(common European framework of languages).

I play chess, badminton, and I swim as well. I'm trying my best to win competitions in the same. I've won four gold medals in a row in chess in my school.

I understand that academic excellence is a must, and I'm more than willing to work hard for it next year, and the coming years. Please don't say that I don't stand a chance, I will try my best in all the ECs and competitions I participate in. Thanking you in anticipation,
