Preparing for the Chemistry, Physics and Biology Olympiads

Hi,

I'm a freshman, currently in Pre-AP biology, and I will hopefully be taking AP Chemistry and Pre-AP Physics as a sophomore and Physics C AP/Bio AP as a junior. I was just wondering how I should prepare for these Olympiads like what classes I should take and what books I should read? Would anyone happen to know the websites for each of these olympiads with the deadlines for them? I'd like to participate in all of them in 10th grade if possible, but my school doesn't do these olympiads, so I'll have to meet all the deadlines since I'm in an awkward situation. Thanks for all your help.

you should get into precalculus or even better, AP Calc. it will benefit you in physics.

I'm already in precal this year, and I'll be in AP Calc BC as a sophomore.

Any one else please?

thats good--just one question, don't u think u should take calc AB first?
that's how the cirriculum goes. Oh, by the way, have u taken any AP exams--registration just ened at my school, but the people are still taking money.

Well if I take AP Calculus AB, I won't have enough slots to take the other classes I need to like th AP Sciences.

No, I have not taken any AP exams.

but you're a sophmore right? Save some of the harder classes for senior year...trust me it will benefit u better.

P.S.--u should take the AP exams to get a feel for what comes up in college. Plus with the score of a 3, 4, or 5, u can earn college credit.

I'll be soph next year, soulstealer.

then what's the rush? why don't u save this harder work for junior and senior year. why don't you ease the burden for now. relax. take a break-have some patience

Well, I really don't want to have such a big burden those 2 years. I don't have many ECs so I have TONS of free time. Otherwise I'd spend all my time on CC.

If you overdo yourself next year, your head will spin in the last 2 years. Take it from someone who's been there. (I'm a junior now.)

why is cliffs better than other study guides?

I want to know , maybe ill get cliffs.
REPLY QUICK THERES ONLY A FEW WEEKs TO EXAM

i don't use princeton review that much. i use college board and http://www.4tests.com/exams
these r what i study from.

PS--i am not taking ap bio, so that might not help much
