Presat HORRIBLE MUST READ PLEASE

Basically blah blah never studied for any test doing good in school got horrible psat scores
116 kinda horrible cut the crap pulled the plug on my ps3 and am now studying 4-5 hours a day and take 2 practice tests a day reading books etc and some teacher tells me apparently if you do very well on the sat they throw your sat out. Not trying to get into an ivy league or something just want to get into rutgers new brunswick so want to raise my score 400-500 points and get like a 1600 on my first time on the sat, if i do bad again ima take it the 2nd time.

If you do not feel like reading that my question is that will they throw out your sat if you did good on it and horrible on presat?

Colleges don’t get your psat scores, only your SATs (and then only if you send them). It’s also possible that the SAT may not be your test. Try the ACT as well - you might do better on it.

JCCsMom is right, colleges don’t see the PSAT, so just take more practice tests before you take the SAT, and you can take the SAT more than once too. And the ACT may be better for you. Also, there are good colleges that don’t even require you to submit to SAT or ACT test scores, so if your scores remain low you can look into some of those colleges, especially if your grades are good.

thanks guys :D
