President Obama praises Bard High School Early College

<p>In a speech to the NAACP, President Obama singled out Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) and Medgar Evars College Preparatory School for praise in their “innovative approaches” to increasing rigor and quality to inner-city schools:</p>

<p>Nice that Obama recognized BHSEC. :)</p>

<p>As a parent of a BHSEC graduate and a current sophmore. It is nice to see BHSEC recognized on the national level. Maybe in the future, I won’t get blank stares when I mention that my kids attend/attended BHSEC.</p>
