sorry about the length. any insight would be great. Anythinkg I need to improve chances?

SAT scores would be helpful, but your GPA is good enough for most of the schools. Your EC's are decent, but without many leadership positions.
Georgetown is probably a reach, but the other two are doable.

You'll get into U of M no problem, and I would imagine that you have a pretty good shot for Georgetown because of your experience in Morocco (if you can write a killer essay about it). GWU is probable doable too. What is your intended major?

I'm looking at political psychology at UMich (been talking to a prof. there about him helping me with this) or international relations at G'Town (SFS) or GWU. Thanks for the input thus far. Just to add to this, I am in state for UMich. I was the captain on the forensics team, and founded the youth republican group in my school (leaderships roles)

I'm also from Michigan. I think you have perfect stats to do well there, and it is possible for you to get into their honors program (if you do, it is completely worth going, as their honors program is highly reputable). Political psychology huh? That will definitely make you stand out (a huge plus). Sadly, while there are relatively few of your kind at UMich, at Georgetown there are a million of you (relatively). Leadership roles are definitely a plus, but a good SAT score will go a long way. Are you planning on taking/have you taken the SAT?

I've thought about the SAT, but I leave for DC, then to Morocco in 5 days, so that is no longer an option. Does this kill me for Georgetown?

Is there any possibility of you taking the SAT? It won't exactly kill you for Georgetown, but it's going to be something you have to explain to them, and the more you have to explain, the worse lol. If there is a possibility, take the SAT. If not, and you can retake the ACT and think you can do well, then do it. Otherwise, apply and hope for the best, but UMich should definitely be a safety for you because you are almost guaranteed entrance there.

unfortunatley, it looks like SAT's are gonna be impossible for me to do this year unless they still give them in August and can rush me my scores before November 1.
