OK..now that the thrill of my Cornell acceptance is wearing off, I am beginning to think of all the stories about it being a pressure cooker. I come from a tough private school and there is a lot of work compared to my local high school (which is a top school, by the way).
How much work is there at Cornell in econ and government? I don't want to be studying 24/7 with no time for anything else. I want a balance. Should I go to Cornell, or to UNC-Chapel Hill (OOS for chapel hill, too).
Also, I may want to go to law school where GPA really matters. Is it really hard to get at least a 3.5 GPA at Cornell? I'm scared now...don't know what to do.
Any comments appreciated.

pressure cooker if you make it a pressure cooks, like how gunners can make law school hard.

Thus, no, you have nothing to worry about.

It's good preparation for law school.

A couple of Cornell alums I've talked to have said that Cornell premed made med school seem like a piece of cake. This can be either a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.
