where to go for business/management for the best job opportunities and recruitment? wharton or HYP or MIT?

and should i apply ED to wharton if i wanna go to Harvard more--because EDing wharton is a lot easier than RD? cuz then i guess i would be torn b/t wanting to get in and wanting to get deferred and will feel good about the decision either way XD

i mean, i'd be fine with either one obviously. but sorry for being very trollish but prestige is very important to me >.<''

Apply to all and see what happens...your decision may become a lot easier. These are all hypotheticals at this point.

To answer your question:
for business/management opportunities and recruitment,
Harvard = Yale = Princeton = Wharton = MIT (come on...it's not going to make a shred of difference)

i just finished my freshman year at georgetown mcdonough and loved it but my top 2 choices were harvard and wharton...i applied early action to harvard and rd to wharton...got deferred and waitlisted at harvard and waitlisted at wharton...my gut tells me i wouldve gotten into wharton early but i couldnt bring myself to give up the dream of harvard...the question is how badly do u want harvard because if wharton is a close number 2 than u should apply ed or u could end up like me with neither yet being so close

Prestige shouldn't be the only factor. Wharton is a business school. You'll get a practical, application-based education. The most comparable major at the other schools you listed is Economics (except maybe for MIT because I don't know anything about what Sloan offers), which is a theoretical, liberal arts major.

The next question is what about business attracts you and what field you want to go in. I'm going to go ahead and assume you mean finance since that's what most people who apply to those schools with the intention of going into "business" really are interested in.

Now for recruiting. There's a thread on the Internships board about this, or maybe it's the Business Majors board. Do some research; there are opinions on this. I'll just say that it's generally agreed that those schools are not equal.
