<p>Does it matter that much? I can't decide between Cornell and Johns Hopkins BME . Each has its pros and cons and I really can't decide, so I'm asking which one is more well known. Also, in case I want to transfer to another competitive school later on, which school will make it easier?</p>

<p>Go to the school where you have the best chance of success. Prestige can only take you so far, and both Cornell and JHU are well known and prestigious enough. What will matter more is how you do when you get there. So pick the one that offers you more of what you need to be successful. If you don't know what you need to be successful by now, you've probably spent too much time worrying about things like prestige and how well known a school is.</p>
