I thought Penn was absolutely gorgeous, not so much with cornell and georgetown

Also University of Indiana Bloomington and Tulane.

UVa of course, Duke, University of Miami, Dartmouth, Stanford, Colorado College, and as far as urban campuses go, NYU.

I think Trinity, Colby, and Duke are the most beautiful i’ve seen!

Cornell and Syracuse! ^_^

wellesley is definitely the best!! beautiful architecture, lake, greenery and suburban town .

UConn have a pretty and great campus. Of course, during the weekends, it’s a sight to behold.

BUT, during the weekends…there is barely a soul left on campus…kinda feel creepy walking to the center of campus and seeing only a couple students total on the road. The staff live nearby, so they all left campus on weekends. Ugh.

Stanford, Cornell, Chicago

I haven’t actually visited the campuses of Stanford and Yale, but I have taken their virtual tours (if that counts for anything, lol). I think these two universities are among some of the prettiest campuses in the U.S.

Concord University in WV is pretty. Small but gorgeous!

I’ve only visited art-based colleges, but out of all the campuses, I think Pratt Institute is really pretty and creative. They have a sculpture garden. (I may be biased, since I’m attending soon, tho).
They’re not exactly pretty, but I think NYU and Cooper Union are nice for a commuter school/urban thing, especially cooper’s historical brownstone building (I’m a sucker for historical architecture). I kinda strolled by the campuses when I was in east village with some friends :].

I thought Iowa State and UBC were very nice.

Stanford. I biked through there today and the campus looked very nice. Also, Cal Poly SLO has a nice campus particularly if you like mountains.

Duke is gorgeous! It’s looks like a castle wonderland! Very similar to Princeton which is also beautiful.

UCCS has my vote. The vicepresident (chancellor? lol) is really obsessed with how the school looks. At one point, several concrete slabs that had just been put in not 2 months before, were replaced. Sprinklers run every morning at 1am and you always see a maintenence crew out trimming up something.

Mizzou.
Indiana University.

UVA hands down!

Most of the older architecture of Penn State is a little bland, but the campus is full of huge beautiful trees. It also has one of the most active and most pleasant main streets of any college town, right across the street from many main buildings of the university.

U. of Pittsburgh is right next to parks and major historic cultural institutions, including The Carnegie. In addition to the Cathedral of Learning (probably the only Gothic skyscraper in the world) and the Heinz Chapel, there also are some buildings with great historic interiors that have been incorporated into the campus.

Mount Holyoke, Wellesley, UVA, University of South Carolina, Tulane, Duke. The quad at LSU is pretty, but I don’t care much for the rest of the campus. I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting.

charlieschm, I have to admit that I found the Cathedral of Learning kind of creepy.

As far as large, public schools… Iowa State has the best campus hands down.
