I think that Bucknell has a pretty campus and Drexel has one of the most ugliest ones.

I heard Georgia Tech has an ugly campus.

GT is quite ugly - one of the few places which make brick look bad. MIT is just awful.

Williams is gorgeous... Dartmouth is lovely... William and Mary, Washington and Lee, Wellesley (except for the science building), some of Harvard (too urban and not enough trees for my taste), Columbia are all lovely.

how big is Darthmouth

I've never heard of Bucknell being floated around as among the prettiest...huh.

I think the colonial town feel of Dartmouth, the gothic architecture of Yale, and Williams in general are really beautiful. Several California schools' Spanish/Western buildings also have their charms...

Yale has a very pretty campus. I've heard that some people consider it the most beautiful campus in America.

I've seen Bucknell .. it's very pretty

Duke has the most beautiful campus I've ever seen. I'm sure many others agree with that, I think it's been mentioned in the Princeton Review for having one of the best campuses, among other things.

caramelkisses06: do u go to Duke?

Nope, I go to Harvard, which has a lovely campus as well, but with a different sort of architecture than Duke and fewer sunny days. Yale's campus is also gorgeous.

wow.. good for you. caramelkisses...are u male of female?

I'm female & I'll be starting my sophomore year this fall. :)

Rice and Harvard are the most beautiful I have seen, but I have not seen much. Georgetown is also quite nice, but for some reason it is not maintained well.

I like how Harvard blends with Cambridge; the ambience that emanates from the area is ineffable.

Edit: Oh, and Baylor and the University of Houston are terrible.

I am African American and I'll be attending Bucknell! GO CLASS OF 2009

Hopkins is very nice if you like red brick.

Stanford and Santa Clara University have BEAUTIFUL campuses.

Vanderbilt is GORGEOUS. also UVA, Tulane, and Emory, if you're interested in the south--VERY historical and beautiful campuses, typical ivy covered brick buildings and southern architecture (think Montecello).

Tufts, Brown, Mount Holyoke, Dartmouth, etc; all campuses with lots of hisotical value and your typical "northern school" feel.

Santa Clara, University of San Diego, and Stanford all have very charming and beautiful Mexican style architecture.

With respect to Rice, I heard the designers adopted many of the architectural cues from the Ivys and Stanford for their buildings.

I thought the University of Richmond was lovely....so many beautiful trees.....

Princeton and Yale - beautiful : ).
U of Chicago - i've heard either the area or the campus itself isn't very attractive.
Stanford - I think it's very very pretty but personally find Gothic to have a little more mystique.

Fairleigh Dickinson University - College at Florham , Madison, NJ is a very pretty campus.
