And nobody be witty and say Scripps b/c of all of the girls...lol. I've been told that believe it or not.

I pretty much agree with you Got2BYale...it is just that I feel Scripps is more cohesive and all around pretty whereas Pomona has one or two particularly beautiful buildings. I prefer the really scenic Scripps courtyards. Pomona is A+ too though.

Well, Harvey Mudd doesn't have much in the way of grounds, so it is clearly last.

They others are all suburban-nice. Not really much difference.

The Mudd campus deserves more credit, IMO. No, the buildings aren't classically beautiful, but they're decently interesting, the campus is incredibly cohesive, and the landscaping is very well done (as is upkeep, all around). It's not a "beautiful" campus, but it's by no means an ugly one.

My personal list would be:

Scripps

Pomona

CMC/Mudd

Pitzer

Pomona has some incredibly beautiful buildings and areas, but I prefer Scripps' campus as a whole. It took me awhile to really appreciate how truly beautiful it is, but wow...both inside and out, too. CMC/Mudd...I find both of them kind of neutral. I neither swoon nor gag. They're both just...nice. Consistent. Simple. Clean. I love Pitzer's unique layout + buildings (and the wall art, which detracts from obvious beauty, but is just so perfectly Pitzer, and so cool!), but it's the least cohesive, and I'm not a fan of the desert landscaping, even though I appreciate the rationale behind it.

In the grand scheme of things, I don't think any of the five are doin' too badly, and there are surely people whose lists would be totally opposite my own.

Saying that any of the schools' campuses have 'not really much difference' is odd.

Pomona's campus is pretty, but it used to be even prettier. In recent years they tore the ivy off of several of the older buildings, and painted them a drab brown. Blech!
