<p>^I’ll mention, though, that the racism found at UA and Ole Miss is almost exclusively confined to the Greek life, and isn’t as widespread as it’s made out to be. For any future applicants, I suggest not ruling it out automatically. I know many ‘non-white’ people who attend there without issue. They recognize the reputation the university has, but haven’t encountered any personally. Likewise, they are all very proud of their school, and don’t consider it “outright hateful” in the least. (And that kinda of glossing generalization - especially from people without firsthand knowledge - is really irksome.)</p>
