Hey for everyone that has already gone. I know we go to a bunch of meeting and stuff but is every hour booked. Is there time to roam about. Cause id like to check out my dorm for the fall, the gym and maybe have lunch with some friends that are up there.

when are you going? my son will be there on the 5th and 6th of July.
I saw the schedule and it looks like it is a full schedule.

My friends told me it is fully booked… They have everything planned out. I go monday…

I have it July 7-8

It’s a really tightly knit schedule. Day 1 is especially hectic and you’re pretty much doing things every minute of the day. Day 2 you will busy doing a lot of things, too, but there’s about an hour or so worth of time when you’re waiting for everybody in your group to finish registering for classes. Although the Preview staffers wanted you to stay in Pugh hall during this time I believe.

On day 2, there’s a tour and presentation in one of the gyms on campus, but I don’t think you’ll be able to see your dorm for fall unless you signed up for Jennings, which is where you’ll be spending the night.

Oh well im spending the previous night, so ill just stop by before i check in at jennings. My dorm is in rawlings so its close.

You’ll have maybe 30 minutes during Gator1 Central depending on what you do. So, no.

was that a no to my first statment or the last

the second day, I had two free hours (:

You won’t have any free time. The second day finishes up earlier on though so you could roam a bit after the program has ended.

Your best option would be to stay in Gainesville an extra day, either before or after your preview session, and do your roaming then.

I ducked out for a bit from a few lectures to go do some stuff like get my laptop & talk to the housing people. They didn’t know & I don’t think they would have cared had they known. Just be sure to be there for the important things.
