<p>NO! Im not talking about love, Im talking about commitment, which are two very different things which can still go hand in hand. You can definitely have true love outside of marriage (thats how many people decide they want to get married to each other) but marriage and sex together seal the commitment.
About making abortions illegal: some people will be desperate enough to still go through with it, but making it illegal will raise the marginal cost for others, who will then choose not to do it and instead find, literally, more viable alternatives. Passing a law against something does not mean everyone will abide by it
drugs, anyone? But its enough to stop some people from doing it, and in the case of abortion, those lives are worth it.</p>
