My essays are very good.
Also, my recommendations are all excellent (from school teachers)
sent 3 additional letters from very prominent persons.

Do you honestly think you will be accepted into one of the most prestigious universities with grammar such as, “How big are my chances?” I’m sorry, but if your accepted, the prestige of Princeton will drop significantly in my mind. However, you do have some significant extracurriculars that are quite impressive. But, those have no weight if you used your inexcusable grammar on your essays.

I agree with the fact that you have significant extracurriculars, and if you can’t pull up your SAT, you do have those amazing ECs on your side. I also agree that you should use proper grammar on your essays. However, in all fairness, I’m not sure that an individual who uses “your” instead of “you’re” can be an adequate judge about acceptable grammar.

yeah, xxFuturexx, no need to be arrogant and prickish. man, this is a CC thread. its suppose to be a chill place whr we dont hve to be judged. hope you get into Princeton, and hope i get there too. but honestly chance threads r a waste of time. it just depends on your luck on getting the good-mood admit officer.

harvardlte… tell that to everyone else who’s on CC

I agree with harvardlite man.
Back to the thread starter,

pull up SATs, as internationals its difficult for us to get into any one of these schools
i skimmed over your ECs/work, but make sure quality> quantity and tie in your extra curriculars with your passions/interests/future field etc
just my two cents

FutureIvy,

Perhaps you should not be so quick to jump on Carterwr’s grammar. You might want to check your own first…

“I’m sorry, but if your accepted, the prestige of Princeton will drop significantly in my mind.”

Your?

PS I just saw that Augustagurrl made the same point.

i think your ECs are very impressive.
best of luck.

Nice EC’s, but your scores are quite low, so I’m going to say no. You never know, though.
