<p>And @ladieth oh yes, I sometimes just have this thought that maybe I don’t deserve an acceptance anyway, but the next second I would force myself to be confident again. There’s no way I’m getting in without even believing it myself…</p>

<p>I’m actually kind of glad I got very depressed about college and am no longer expecting anything, haha. But it’s also bad because I’m no longer motivated to apply to more reaches

<p>@ScienceDaddy I doubt the admissions officers check cc during admissions season. It would be unfair to the applicants as the committee member would be tempted to project their pictures of us onto applications they read leading to discrimination either pro or con depending upon what we post and how they take it. </p>
<p>@Ambitious19 what do you think of what @TyedTyper said? I really hope they don’t check it … Not that I said anything bad or anything, but I just hope they don’t have any preconceived notions about CC … I feel like you know so much about this process!! Thanks</p>

<p>All you guys are talking about exams and I’m just like ??? My midterms are in the end of January and then AP exams in May and finals (though I will probably have none) are in June. I don’t know why you guys have exams in December but I’m very happy that I do not. (Good luck on them though!)</p>

Even though some of us have posted stats and EC’s, there’s no way for them to pinpoint exactly who IVYLeagueIntel or picozippy or sr97392 is!!! Plus I think they have more important things to do than stalk these SCEA threads!</p>

<p>@ambitious19 I’m just thinking that if I’m on the adcom, I don’t want my perception of applicants being colored by something I read on cc. For instance, you can tell what region many people are from and even some high schools–ahem! So it would be unfair to let your perception of applicants be affected by cc. </p>

<p>Hey guys, I’ve been lurking this thread since November, and I wish that I’d posted more, but I know that we’re all in this together! I’m nervous, but no matter what happens we will all go to great schools.</p>
<p>Haha I think I will take the bus home from school so I can be hunched over in my bus seat and check my decision on my phone at 3 pm and not have to worry about driving.</p>

<p>I thought I wanted to keep the result a secret until Christmas. But after further thinking I’m going to wait until my parents get out of work and come take me out of class to check the decision. I will also have the mock trial faculty adviser there since she’s known me since I was in 2nd grade. I just thought it’d be chill(yes I’m from Califorina) to have the biggest supporters in my life present for such a “big” moment for me. </p>
<p>it’s so weird to imagine that tomorrow at 3:00 EST we’ll all be in our respective corners of the world, looking at our computer/phone screens, hoping to see the same thing – an orange tiger and a message that may or may not change our lives forever…</p>

<p>LOL finals. I take mine later in the week…honestly don’t know if I’ll have the motivation to study once the results come out. </p>
<p>If I get in, I’m ducking out of school, driving to the elementary school that my parents and grandma teach at, and loudly barging into their respective classrooms to share the news. </p>
<p>If I don’t get in, I’ll prolly just stare into space for awhile and be upset</p>
