Princeton and AP credits..

If I get credit for Calc BC, Physics C Mechanics &EM, Bio AP, Chem AP, can I still retake those classes at Princeton, or do I have to enroll in higher level classes?

Thanks.

You don’t have to enroll in a higher level course, you can take whatever level you feel comfortable with. You can also try out the higher level for a couple of weeks to see if it suits you, and then drop back if you don’t like it.

However, if you do retake the AP class, you lose the ability to apply that AP credit to advanced standing. Few students take advanced standing, but if you’d like to take a semester off or graduate early with advanced standing, then you have to enroll in the higher level classes. Other than that, most advisors are pretty flexible signing off on whatever level class you decide.
