@orgooo I’m in the same boat with counselors. We have about 1,000 per grade, so the only time you really see your counselors is for bad stuff…
@notagoddess1208 @orgooo @writerreader22 Thank you guys so much. You have no idea how reassuring it is to hear that. I feel much less stressed now.
@notagoddess1208 Our college and career counselor is always on campus, but you have to proactively set up time to meet with her, which most students don’t. Most students are wealthy enough to have private counsellors and SAT/ACT prep etc. but our school is pretty hands off.
@appletree456789 I write analytical journalism and opinion pieces on humanitarian issues and international law basically like mini research papers lol
@appletree456789 btw… your commitment/success in writing is amazing O_O
@floraha That sounds awesome. Are you majoring in English? I assume you also hope to work on The Daily Princetonian? And thank you for your kind words. They mean the world, especially in this nerve-wracking time.
@appletree456789 Wow, your passion for writing shows through so much just in the chance me post, so I can’t imagine how amazingly it would show through in your essays. Don’t let your SAT score get you down! You have plenty holding you up
