Hi! I was just accepted into the Princeton Creative Arts and Humanities Symposium. I knew my guidance counselor had nominated me, but I didn't expect to get in--only 90 seniors are chosen from selected schools across the nation. I'm thrilled that I'm in, but now I'm starting to think that I have a chance at actual acceptance to Princeton University (!). I wasn't even planning on applying because I thought I could never get in. But now I'm hearing rumors of an 80% historical acceptance rate to the university from Symposium attendees. Is this crazy? Should I rethink my Early Decision choice (which was going to be Johns Hopkins for creative writing)? Does anyone have more information on this?
