Princeton EA Deferred

I just received my EA decision today and found out that I was deferred. I realize that Princeton has a very high deferral rate, but does anyone have an idea of how many deferred Princeton students are accepted in the regular decision pool? Do deferred EA students have a better chance than regular decision applicants? And is there anything I can do to help my application at this point (ie a deferral letter, a phone call to the admissions office, etc)?

Sorry about the deferral. Although this article is about Harvard, I imagine the stats are about the same at Princeton: http://www.boston.com/news/education/2015/12/11/harvard-accepts-record-low-percentage-of-early-applicants

In other words, deferred applicants have LESS of chance (at least at Harvard) than the overall RD acceptance rate. My take on it: it’s time to move on!

I’ve perused previous threads, and I’ve found the consensus to be approximately 6-8 percent. As a deffered Princeton applicant myself, I truly hope that I’m one of them. And you as well, of course .

I was wondering how to submit a Letter of Continued Interest. Should it be mailed to them?
