<p>For the Princeton supplement on the Common App, I'm writing the supplement engineering essay since I plan to major in engineering, and I have a couple questions. </p>
<p>First, the general supplement essay states that it should be around 500 words, so should the engineering essay be around the same, or could it be around 700 words, as long as it's under the 4000 characters it specifies?</p>
<p>Also, how much weight does the engineering essay carry in admission-is it roughly equal to the general supplement essay?</p>
