Princeton Financial Aid Deadline

On it, they require a W-2 and tax form and the deadline is November 1.

Does that mean the documents have to arrive before November 1?

Thanks.

No, don’t worry, you can turn it in late as it is more of a request than a deadline. If you are not particularly concerned about getting a FA pre-read you can submit the info in January, or March for that matter. If you get everything in within a month though there should be no problem getting a FA package with your acceptance. After awhile if you FA application is incomplete they will send you an email requesting the information…and no, that doesn’t mean you have been admitted. (I guarantee a speculation thread will surface as soon as the emails are generated!)

@planner03 Wait, so if I don’t turn in the financial aid forms by November 1, my (potential) acceptance will not come with a financial aid package. If I turn it in later in March, can I still get aid for the first year?

If you are accepted you can turn it in in July and still get FA-Princeton does not run out of money, lol. Submitting the info now just guarantees a package with your decision. They request Nov. 1st because the FA office wants 6 weeks to work up the packages, but if you are late, within reason your will still get a package. If you are considering other schools even if accepted, there is really no rush -you can turn in your info in March and still have a package in time to make comparisons prior to May 1st.
