<p>Has anyone here done the PPPL Summer Research Internship for high school students here?
I'm applying and I'd just like to know what the research is like there. Do you choose your own topics, or is it assigned? </p>
<p>Also, as I've never really had any previous research experience, will that hurt my chances significantly? They have a section of the application for listing previous research experience.</p>

<p>I sent them an email to inquire about the status of my application; they told me they received all my materials and my application was being reviewed. Not sure when decisions are made; hopefully before April 17 when I have to send out gov school decisions -.-</p>
