I’m applying for the Lab Learning Program at Princeton University this summer and was just wondering how hard it is to get in? aka should I have a lot of backup summer plans in case I don’t get accepted?
Hi I’m applying too and would also like to know this! Are you a current sophomore or junior?
i’m currently a junior!
I’ve applied too… Wondering the same thing…
Have either of you heard back yet?
I heard back about a week ago from Physics 2. I just got e-mailed a response, though, and nothing from the others.
I applied as well, but haven’t heard anything, and they said everything will come out by 5/31 which is very late so…
The # of positions they had for each lab was very few though. Fingers crossed. >.<
@literatechild The ones I applied to had between 1 and 2 “advertised” positions, but the guy that accepted me said he takes on about three to four (and not just for the posted projects).
@penguinpal Oh wow, I guess that offers a little more hope. You said you heard back, was it positive?
@literatechild yes, he asked me for a phone interview, which was last week, and then earlier this week, he told me I could have a position. Sometime soon, he says, I need to go down there to discuss a project and fill out a bunch of paperwork, so I would say it was very positive.
@penguinpal Wow congrats!
@literatechild Thanks! I really wasn’t expecting it since I have little research experience, and it was pretty early (given the expected time frame of May 31st.)
Has anyone else received any news or updates?
nope i got nothing
