I know that there have been many threads about PR's validity but, they have given me mixed messages. Some people say that the PR's practice tests are harder than the actual SAT while other people say that they are easier. I recently took a practice test from this book under normal conditions and received a 2150 (CR: 690; M: 730; W: 730). What do you think I would get on an actual SAT if I took it tomorrow.

Bumpity Bump

In my opinion, PR is comparable to SAT in difficulty (there may be slight difference, but it shouldn’t affect anything).

At least it’s not a mock AIME/USAMO vs. a regular AIME/USAMO.

Thank You!!! Anyone else???

PR is easier.

I used the PR books a few years ago and I thought it was generally easier, although a few sections here and there were above average in difficulty.

IMO, the PR tests were much better than Kaplan and Barrons because Kaplan was just off the mark and Barrons was simply too hard. I felt like Barrons was more for the 2250+ kids aiming for 2400 or something like that.

lol i thought barrons were easier than PR but BB was the hardest

Thanks everyone!!! But around what score would I get on the SAT???

Around a 2150, give or take 20-30 pts maybe.

Its pretty good for practice. Reading and writing sections are equally difficult in my opinion. The math i found a little off compared to the SAT math but its still good practice material.
