Princeton Review - Practice Tests question

Hey guys.

On Oct. 10 I'm taking the Bio E/M, Math IIC, and Chem SAT Subject Tests.

For both Bio and Chem I got Princeton Review. For one Bio practice test I got 680, and in the one I took today I got 600 (I just couldn't concentrate, I know if I had taken it another time I would've gotten a higher score).

I've only taken 1 chem practice test, I got 630

For Math IIC, I bought Kaplan's study book and in 1 practice test I got 710.

Are the practice tests designed to be harder than the actual tests? To people tend to get higher or lower on the real tests than the practice tests? Believe me, I've been studying hard for more than a month and much of the science material is self-taught, it wasn't covered in my bio and chem courses (I did O-levels)

Thanks.
