Ive been on CC long enough to know how you guys will respond but:
My mom wants me to sign me up for this and she has two real actual examples of 2 kids I know very well who have taken this program right before the test and have seen around 150 point increases. From around 2150 - around 2280. This is actual evidence and she isn't stretching the truth. I was wondering whether I should take it or not. As it couldn't hurt except that I'll have to take part of it during a rigorous senior year course in HS

SOMEONE please help!! Its a quick question

The key to doing well on the SAT is knowing what to expect and getting practice. For $1000+, Princeton Review offers 4 simulated proctored exams, which really gets the students familiar with the exam. The practice tests are the key to success and not the actual class itself. If you are disciplined enough to take practice tests on your own at home using prep books (i.e. CollegeBoard’s, which is way more real of an exam than PR can ever offer) then you don’t need a prep course.

I took a Kaplan course for free. I ended up cutting most of the classes and showing up for the practice tests. I got a 2030 on the Kaplan diagnostic and occasionally got above a 2200 on their practice tests. On the real one, I got a 2280. You don’t need test prep, just practice and learn the words in Direct Hits.

bump more help please

any1 else? 1 last try bump

I’m not sure if a course is necessary. Practice tests seem to be the key. My D went from a 2070 to a 2340 with practice-no courses.
