I read here a lot that Princeton review is pretty good. But, I've rarely seen anyone comment on collegeboard SAT II books... Are they any good because I ordered them online yesterday.. Also,,, to get 700+ on 3 subjects, how much prep time is required on average?

princeton review is good - just that they are kind of fat –> more reading

and 700 isnt that hard if youre getting decent grades at school.

it also depends on what subjects - like math I is just like the math section on the reasoning test, so if youre good at math then you dont need any revision at all.

subjects like physics might require you to study quite a bit - i got 800 from studying 35 hours outside school, but I’d done maybe half the stuff which comes up on the SAT test in school so there wasnt too much to learn.

i got 720 for math II with maybe 20 hours revision - but I do IB higher level mathematics so a lot of it is covered there.

and the language tests are also quite easy if you’ve been learning it for a few years.

if youre taking a language and its your first language, then you can easily get 800 without studying at all for it
