So I'm doing practices tests (bleh) using the princeton review 2009 11 practice tests because it's recommended--supposedly.

The writing conversion table doesn't make any sense to me
it tells me to add my MC raw score and my essay grades to get my writing raw score.
MC raw score is usually in the range of 74-78 and I assume my essay is going to be a 10.

So according to PR instructions, my writing raw score is 84-88 but the writing conversion from raw score to scaled score is capped at 73: a 73 is equivalent to an 800.

How does that make sense?
